Getting to Blackpool
There are a number of ways to get to the dazzling lights of Blackpool. Wherever you’re coming from, and whichever method of transport you prefer, Blackpool is easily accessible for everyone.
For those drivers in and around the North West, the M55 provides easy access to the national motorway network. Parking doesn’t have to be a worry as there are plenty of spaces in and around the town.
For those who either don’t drive or would prefer to leave it to someone else, there is plenty of opportunity to travel to Blackpool's Talbot Road bus station via coach with major service providers Stagecoach and National Express operating from the station.
If the coach isn’t for you then why not get the train? There are currently two Stations in Blackpool, North and South. The North one being the major. TransPennine Express and Northern are the two train operators that operate in to and from the town.
For those travelling from further afar, Blackpool International Airport provides a fantastic chance to get to the town by hopping on a plane. The airport is in fact one of the oldest in the UK and operates regular charter and scheduled flights to Blackpool throughout the UK and Europe.
