Mardi Gras held their Bank Holiday Monday all day Charity in support of Renaissance Project in Blackpool. Miss Stella Arois along with Captain Ginger on the Decks entertained all day and night along with the 25 acts kindly supplied by Michael James Entertainments. Scott James Timothy Robinson (born 22 November 1979 in Essex, England) is an English singer best known for having been a member of the boyband, Five. Scott lived in Pitsea and has two older sisters, Nicola and Hayley. He attended Chalvedon Comprehensive School in Pitsea, Essex until the third year, year nine, when he left to move full time to the Sylvia Young Theatre School.
He enjoyed initial acting success with small parts in Casualty, Hale and Pace and The Bill. Scott also performed on stage in London’s West End & the Edinburgh Festival with Ron Moody in Peter Pan and in the National Youth Music Theatre Production of Whistle Down the Wind before turning his attention to music with Five.
Robinson married Kerry Oaker (born 15 June 1983 in Essex, England), on 28 September 2001, the day after Five split up. On 11 July 2001, Kerry gave birth to the couple’s son, Brennan Rhys Robinson. Scott became a father for a second time, with the birth of his second son, Kavan Reeve, on 13 September 2006 the family currently live in Pitsea Essex.[1]
Since the split of Five, Robinson has worked in radio, television, and was one of the leads in the UK regional touring musical, Boogie Nights 2.
A special event over the Pride 2012 weekend on Queen Street outside The Flying Handbag and Kaos Bar will see a whole weekend of top entertainment including special guest stars from X-Factor Sami Brookes(Appearing Saturday) and Johnny Robinson (Sunday), Local acts and other entertainers include Vici Moran, Joanna Shorrock, Chelsea Stevens, Brad Leigh Scott Soraya Vivian and Luminites. The world famous Funny Girls will also make an appearance on stage. Plus many more.
There will be an outside stage on Saturday and Sunday plus a dance tent and LGBT market stalls all weekend. Licensed for drinking on the street in that area will also be in place so you can enjoy the entertainment while having your favourite drinks. What’s more you get all of this totally FREE. Great value, top entertainment and all hosted by the lovely DJ Carmen and Professor Pished. This is a joint veture between Flying Handbag and kaos Bar working together to bring everyone together in harmony. Not to be missed
The Luminites are a street band bringing their very own music.
The 2 Shoes girls, made up of Lucy Texeira and Charley Bird, wowed the X Factor judges at every stage of the competition, and they were praised by Louis for their fun and outgoing personalities after performing All My Lifeduring their first audition.
The duo sailed their way through Bootcamp for a place at the Judges Houses stage of the competition, where they went on to impress Tulisa and guest judge Jessie J with their rendition of Tik Tok by Ke$ha.
Getting a place in the live shows was a dream come true for the girls and they loved every minute of their first performance, where they sang Girls Aloud’s Something Kinda Ooh, but they failed to impress Gary Barlow, who likened them to ‘a karaoke night in Romford’.
